Personality: Akihiko is very cool and collective, he has a pretty well balanced temper and is highly mature for his age. He is very goal orientated, highly determined, and can be stubborn as well. He religiously trains his body and mind every day, wanting to keep as sharp as possible. He is very confident in his abilities and is a highly hard worker. He’s the voice of reason from time to time, always there to motivate people and lift them up if they are down. He is a great encourager and pushes people to do their best. Akihiko is very protective over those who he deems as his friends or need protection. He is highly loyal as well and incredibly brave. Despite women being very attracted to him, Akihiko is rather socially awkward when it comes to women deep down.

Brief History in Canon: Akihiko along with Mitsuru and Shinjiro are the three students who originally founded SEES, a group of people who were blessed (or cursed) with the ability to use a power called a persona and experience the dark hour and fight shadows. Akihiko grew up in an orphanage with his sister and his best friend, Shinjiro. One night when Akihiko and Shinji were fighting a Shadow, Shinjiro couldn’t controlled his persona and it managed to kill a human by accident (it was later relieved that this human was Ken’s mother) Shinjiro left the group, unable to deal with the damage he had caused. Despite Akihiko’s best efforts, their relationship never really became the same again.

Akihiko is now the captain of the boxing team and takes his training very seriously; his number one goal is to get as strong as he can. In the beginning of the game he was injured very badly due to a shadow attack but soon recovers and joins the group. When Ken learns that Shinjiro was the one that killed his mother, he joins SEES in order to get revenge on Shinjiro. On the night Ken went out to kill Shinjiro, Akihiko tried his best to reach the pair of them in time when he realized what was going on, but sadly arrived too late. Shinjiro was killed by a group called Strega, though very deeply affected by the death of his best friend, Akihiko swears at his funeral that he will become stronger and is able to unleash his most powerful form of Persona because of his death.

Background (AU):Akihiko was born to a half blood family in London, England. He had a rather happy childhood, until a fire claimed the lives of his parents and little sister at the age of nine. Alone in the world, Akihiko was soon taken to an orphanage where he met another boy there his age. The two became fast friends and connected on many levels. It was here that Akihiko made a promise to himself that he would never feel as weak as he did at the time of the fire that claimed the lives of his family. He would soon start training his body in the ways of boxing, in hopes of getting as strong as he could. At the age of eleven, Akihiko received his letter to Hogwarts, eager to gain more strength and prove his worth.

He trained very hard over his years at Hogwarts, until one night when he happened to go into a Muggle convenient store late one night to pick up some protein bars when a dark wizard attack happened. Though not nearly as strong enough to take on all of them at once, he was able to bluff his way through the attack, stun one of the members, and run off with a very scared little boy huddle in the corner. After learning that the kid’s name was Junpei, he walked him home and warned him to be more careful at night. When he was safely inside his home Akihiko returned to his orphanage, feeling very pleased with the outcome of the battle and the fact that he had managed to help someone so much.

It came to his surprise that the kid was in fact going to school with him; he kept good ties with him, as well as the one kid with blue hair named Minato. Akihiko currently lives alone in a small flat in Wales and is working very hard to become an Auror. An emergency during his sixth year kept him back over his summer break and well over the semester but Akihiko has returned to finish his schooling.
